I admit, sometimes I actually watch 106 & park. They occasionally have good guests and performances, like jay-z doing a mini concert to promote his new kingdom come album.

So anyways, the other day I flip to BET and see the clipse performing Grindin', and then they hit the couch for the usual interview. It went routine until I see one of them pull out something to show to the camera (I had no idea which one it was, who can tell which one is pusha-T and which one is malice anyways?).

This nigga pulled out a promotional apron, that said hell hath no fury, and that 'the real hustlas out there know what the apron is all about, cookin it up on the stovetop'.

..... what?.

There are so many things wrong with this. 106 & park is a kids show, whoever tells you differently is mistaken. They have middle schools and high schools come on every week to do their little dance competitions. The crowd is packed with teenage girls screaming at the top of their lungs. Yet, everyone is perfectly ok with these dudes handing out Aprons to cook crack?

Im a very liberal person. I live in one of the most liberal areas of the united states, but this shit was an outrage to me. Theres enough problems with black folks nowadays, and this shit really doesnt help.

I dont think ANYBODY involved with this can give a good reason for their actions. I really think BET needs to create a seperate program for artists who are edgier with their material. If you wanna hand out aprons and talk about slingin crack to some grown folks... go ahead, BET doesnt have anything of worth on at night anyways, why not create a seperate live audience show for people over 25?
